A monograph on "Alcohol related harm: Implications for
public health and policy in India" (2011) by the National Institute of
Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, revealed that over 50
per cent of regular alcohol users fall into the category of hazardous drinking,
and the use of alcohol was increasing disproportionately in younger age groups.
Alcohol consumers have a higher incidence of mortality,
hospitalisation and disabilities due to injuries, said the study. Nearly
one-third of night road traffic injuries and deaths are attributed to alcohol
use. About one-fourth of violence and other forms of abuse against women and
children were linked to chronic alcohol use.

Alcohol consumption is almost zero among Muslims. Visit any
bar, anywhere in the world and count how many Muslims are there. You will be
shocked.
Same goes with Muslim women. While sex freedom and eye-candy
culture is becoming the in-thing everywhere, Muslim women are moving towards
hijab and Islamic code of discipline.
A Muslim scholar said “If you look at the history, downfall
of every empire started with wine and women. A time will come, they will come
and plead Muslims to lead them”.
Hindu brothers and sisters are becoming biggest consumers of
alcohol and getting fooled by Kamasutra lies. I think, Muslim brothers and
sisters must step-in and save them to save India.
